PRODUCT INGREDIENTS
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SAMPLER
CRABS
- There is no appreciable loss of quality from reheating.
- Place a steamer basket in a large pot with enough water to reach the bottom of the basket.
- Once the water is boiling, place the crabs inside, season and cover.
- Steam the crabs for five minutes or until the meat is hot throughout.
- If you don’t have a steamer basket on hand you can also reheat the crabs in the oven for approximately 10 minutes at 375°F.
CRAB CAKES
Stovetop:
- Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and butter the surface.
- Take the crab cake out of the container and shape it like a hockey puck.
- Cook the crab cakes until both sides are a nice golden brown color, about 6 min (4oz.) or 10 min (8oz.)
Baking:
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF and place the crab cakes on a nonstick baking sheet.
- Take the crab cake out of the container and shape it like a hockey puck.
- Optional: Add a slice of butter on top of the crab cake.
- Bake until golden brown, approximately 5-8 min (4oz.) or 10-12 min (8oz.)
SPICED SHRIMP
- Enjoy cold or place the steamed shrimp into a steamer over a pot of boiling water for a maximum of two minutes.
- Remove the steamed shrimp as soon as they are heated through.
CRAB MEAT BISQUE
- Pour the soup into a thick-bottomed saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thoroughly heated through.
